Refunds
Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer, and not yet in effect. Do not take payments against this.
Not yet published. Operated by Jason Wang, a sole proprietor located in Houston, Texas. Questions: jason.j.wang@gmail.com.
Short version: if it breaks, you are not charged. If the first one you ever make does not work for you, we refund it. After that, ask and we will be reasonable.
A render that fails costs nothing
Your credit is reserved when you press Render and only spent when the video is actually in your account. If anything fails on our side the credit returns automatically, usually within seconds. You do not have to ask and you do not have to notice.
Changing a setting is free for an hour
For an hour after a video lands you can adjust the sliders and render the same job again free, up to three times. A first attempt is rarely the last.
Your first video, unconditionally
Whether this works on your footage is the one thing neither of us can be sure of in advance. So the first video you ever render is refundable for any reason within seven days — you do not have to explain why. Email us.
After that
Tell us what went wrong and we will look at the render. If the software did something wrong, you get the credit back. If the composite did not work because of how the source was lit or shot, we will usually still refund it the first couple of times and tell you what to change — but we will also point you at the shooting guide, because that is the part we genuinely cannot fix afterwards.
Unused credits
Refundable within 30 days of purchase, minus any you have spent. Just ask.
How to ask
Email jason.j.wang@gmail.com with the link to the run from your past runs. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five business days.
